O Fado, canção nacional de Portugal e consagrada pela UNESCO como patrimonio imaterial da Humanidade, é normalmente acompanhada com a Guitarra Portuguesa.
Mário Moita preparou este espectaculo no Japao em 2001 (com o Historiador Ito Genjiro) com imagens e videos sobre a historia do fado ao piano, tradição de 1870.
Baseando-se no seu livro “Fado ao Piano, tradição versus inovação, Mário apresenta o que se pode chamar uma aula musical sobre os diferentes tipos de Fados que existem em Portugal.

Uma viagem sensorial pelas estações do ano através do Fado
"4 Estações, 4 Fados" é um espetáculo criado por Mário Moita que propõe uma analogia entre as estações do ano e a alma do Fado, em suas diferentes expressões emocionais.
O percurso começa no Outono, com a melancolia do mar e do vento refletida no piano em “Canção do Mar”. A seguir, chega o Inverno, simbolizado pelo fado mais conhecido no Brasil, “Tudo Isto é Fado”, que evoca a dor e a saudade.
Com a chegada da Primavera, o espetáculo viaja de Lisboa até Coimbra, com o fado de serenata “São Tão Lindos os Teus Olhos”, celebrando a juventude e a tradição universitária. o clima torna-se mais romântico, como no tema “O Luar é Meu Amigo”. No auge do Verão, e na
reta final, ouvem-se temas populares de várias regioes do pais, culminando com fados mais alegres como “Senhor Vinho”, celebrando o espírito boêmio de Portugal.

En el punto culminante del verano, suenan temas populares de varias regiones del país, concluyendo con fados más alegres como “Senhor Vinho”, celebrando el espíritu bohemio de Portugal.

A sensory journey through the seasons of the year — told in Fado“4 Seasons, 4 Fados” is a musical experience created by Mário Moita, drawing a poetic parallel between the seasons of the year and the emotional soul of Fado.The journey begins in Autumn, with the melancholy of the sea breeze and wind reflected in the piano version of “Canção do Mar”. Then comes Winter, symbolized by the most well-known Fado in Brazil, “Tudo Isto é Fado”, evoking longing and sorrow.With the arrival of Spring, the concert travels from Lisbon to Coimbra, with the serenade “São Tão Lindos os Teus Olhos”, celebrating youth and university tradition.
